Scottish Singer/Songwriter Greg Pearson is a young and ambitious, next generation musician, from Edinburgh, Scotland.
Greg began his musical journey in 2015 with release of his debut single, These Walls.
These Walls was featured as Single Of The Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland and play-listed on BBC Radio next to the likes of Adele and Cee Lo Green.
In the lead up to the release, Greg had the opportunity to have his original, home demo of These Walls played in front of an exclusive A&R panel which included the owner of ultra-credible indie label, Fat Cat Records, an X-Factor talent scout and the once A&R manager of Universal Music Publishing, who signed the likes of The Killers and Queens Of The Stone Age. Much to Greg’s delight, the demo received an all round thumbs up from the panel, with questions of “Where can we hear more?” being asked, before the first single had even been released.
The radio edit was produced by David Whitmey, who’s previous client list includes Mika, The Wanted and The Saturday’s.
“The 25 year old multi-instrumentalist has created a tune that would sit nicely next to Justin Bieber or The Weekend” - The Daily Record.
(These Walls) would fit comfortably on any daytime radio playlist, and if theres any justice, that is where it will end up” - The Scotland On Sunday.
